Occupational Safety & Health Administration It is the policy of Villas that every employee shall be provided a workplace free from recognized hazards likely to cause physical harm, and to comply with all applicable Federal, State and local regulations affecting the safety and health of its employees.

The Villas management team assigned to the project is responsible for the implementation, maintenance and enforcement of all safety regulations in accordance with applicable regulations.

Villas has an award-winning "Safety First" program that has received numerous local and national awards.

Before any Sub Contractor is allowed to begin work on a Villas project site, they are required to attend a safety orientation meeting held by Villas safety officer and the Villas on-site management team. Villas uses this opportunity to review the requirements of the mandatory safety program and outline what is expected of every Subcontractor on the project.

The Villa’ "Safety First" program includes:
- Annual goals and monitoring systems to track performance in accordance with those standards
- A pro-active employee safety committee
- Employee safety orientation, training procedures and programs
- Pre-hire mandatory drug testing & random drug testing
- An employee incentive program
- Weekly on-site "Tool Box" meetings
- Job safety surveys to determine unsafe conditions and corrective procedures
- Published and posted job safety rules
- Accident investigation and reporting procedures
- Arrangements for routine and emergency medical services
- Continual Safety Educational Program that complies or exceeds regulations for all employees
- Special instruction for specific jobsite conditions like confined spaces, lockout/tagout, trenching/shoring, etc.
- Recordkeeping requirements
Procedures for evaluations in the event a non-compliance or alleged violation of safety and health regulations occurs, a procedure is provided for eliminating the exposure
